HI, I’M Tanya
Registered Provisional Psychologist, MSc, MTS
Serving clients in Okotoks and across Alberta
I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist with over 25 years of experience in the field of mental health counselling. I have been supporting individuals, couples, and families in Okotoks since 2011, and have provided telephonic and video counselling services for more than a decade.
I work with adults, teens, young adults, and couples who are navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, relationship challenges, career transitions, workplace conflict, ADHD, executive functioning concerns, and depression. I also support individuals and families impacted by disability, vocational rehabilitation, and complex life transitions.
At the core of my work is the belief that clarity and connection create meaningful change. Whether you are feeling stuck in a relationship, overwhelmed in your career, or unsure how to move forward, my role is to help you better understand your patterns, strengthen your skills, and build a path that feels steady and sustainable.
A grounded, relational approach
Therapy is both practical and deeply personal. I believe in creating a calm, respectful space where you feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. Together, we identify what is not working, explore what matters most to you, and develop tools that create real change in your daily life.
My work integrates evidence based approaches including:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Gottman Method for Couples
Solution Focused Therapy
Career and Vocational Counselling Strategies
Executive Functioning and ADHD informed interventions
Stress and Burnout Management
Every session is tailored to your specific goals and circumstances. Growth is not one size fits all, and therapy should reflect your unique situation and strengths.
